【摘要】:ThisservicedefinitioniscompliantwiththeUPnPDeviceArchitectureversion1.0.Thisservice-typeenablesmodelingofthe‘QosPolicyHolder’functioncapabilities.ThefunctionalityfortheQosPolicyHolderservicecanbeimplementedbyanydeviceonthehomenetwork.TheQosPolicyHolderserviceisresponsibleforprovidingthetrafficpolicyvaluesforanygiventrafficstreamasrequestedbyanentitythatmanageshomenetworktraffic,typicallyaQoSManagementEntity.Thetrafficpolicyvaluesaredeterminedbyapplyingthepolicyrulesconfiguredforthehomenetworktotherequestedtrafficinformation.TheconfigurationandmanagementofhomenetworkpolicyareoutofscopewithintheUPnPQoSarchitecture[QoSArchitecture].EachQosPolicyHolderservicemustbeadvertised(SSDPdiscoverable)withinthehomenetwork.Thisdocumentdoesnotaddresstheprocedureforendtoendsetupofnewtrafficorrevokingofexistingtraffic.
