【摘要】:Thistestmethodissuitableforuseunderactualorsimulatedin-serviceconditions;thatis,onesideoftheunitisexposedtoroomtemperature,whiletheothersideisexposedtonaturalorsimulatedweatherconditions.Wheretheglazingconditionsandthe24-hhistoryaredifferentorchangedfrompreviousconditions,thefrost/dewpointmaynotbecomparabletoapreviousmeasurement.Thistestmethodisapplicablefortheuncoatedorunfilmedclear(transparent)glasspaneofsealedinsulatingglassunits.Ifthisapparatusisusedwithcoatedorfilmedglasspane,thecoatingorfilmonthesurfaceofglasspanemaybedamaged.Thistestmethodmayrequireminormodificationstokeepthemeasuringsurfaceofthefrost/dew-pointapparatusincontactwiththeglassiftheinsulatingglassunitisnotinthetrueverticalposition.1.1Thistestmethoddescribesafieldorlaboratoryprocedurefordeterminingthefrost/dewpointwithintheairspace(s)ofsealedinsulatingglassunitsandestablishesthecriteriafordeterminingwhetherthatpointisbeloworaboveagivenorspecifiedtemperature.1.2Thistestmethodalsodescribestheapparatustobeusedforthesedeterminations.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Forspecifichazardstatements,see9.1.3and9.3.7.
