【摘要】:1.1Thistestmethodcoversdeterminationofthethermalenduranceoffilm-insulatedroundmagnetwireinairatatmosphericpressure.Itisnotapplicabletomagnetwirewithfibrousinsulation,suchascottonorglass.1.2Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.TheSIunitsinparenthesesareprovidedforinformationonly.1.3Thistestmethodcoverstheevaluationofthermalendurancebyobservingchangesinresponsetoacproofvoltagetests.Theevaluationofthermalendurancebyobservingchangesinotherpropertiesofmagnetwireinsulationrequirestheuseofdifferenttestmethods.1.4Itispossiblethatexposureofsometypesoffilminsulatedwiretoheatingaseousorliquidenvironmentsintheabsenceofairwillgivethermalendurancevaluesdifferentfromthoseobtainedinair.Considerthispossibilitywheninterpretingtheresultsobtainedbyheatinginairwithrespecttoapplicationswherethewirewillnotbeexposedtoairinservice.1.5Itispossiblethatelectricstressappliedforextendedperiodsatalevelexceedingorevenapproachingthedischargeinceptionvoltagewillchangesignificantlythethermalenduranceoffilminsulatedwires.Undersuchelectricstressconditions,itispossiblethatcomparisonsbetweenmaterialswillalsodifferfromthosedevelopedusingthismethod.1.6ThistestmethodissimilartoIEC60172.Differencesexistregardingspecimenpreparation.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
