【摘要】:1.1Thisclassificationsystemcovershighlycrosslinkedthermoplasticvulcanizates(HCTPVs)forextrusion,moldingandotherfabricationmethods.HCTPVsarethermoplasticelastomers(TPEs)consistingoftwoormorepolymersystemsatleastoneofwhichisrubberyandhighly(>95%)crosslinkedandatleastoneofwhichisthermoplastic,witheachsystemhavingitsownphase.Thethermoplasticphasewilltendtobecontinuousandtherubberyphasediscontinuous.Thehighlevelofcrosslinkingandultrafineparticlesize(ca1956;mdiameter)oftherubberyphasegiverisetopropertiesmorecloselyapproachingthoseofconventionalthermosetrubber,whencomparedtothesamethermoplastic/rubberypolymercompositionwithalowerlevel(8804;95%)ofcrosslinking.TheHCTPVpolymercompositionsmaycontainfillers,reinforcingagents,plasticizers,resins,antidegradants,colorantsandotherbeneficialconstituents.RecycledHCTPVsarenotcoveredinthisclassificationsystem.1.2Includedinthisclassificationsystemarethepropertiesnecessarytoidentifytherespectivecompositions.Forspecializedapplications,otherrequirementsmaybeneededtoidentifyspecificcharacteristics.1.3AsgiveninIEEE/ASTMSI-10,valuesinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Note18212;ThereisnoequivalentISOstandard.1.4Thefollowingsafetyhazardscaveatpertainsonlytothetestmethodsportion,Section12,ofthisclassificationsystem.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyproblems,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
