【摘要】:ThespecificrecommendationsinthisStandardcovertherequirementsforsafetydevicesandprotectivefacilitiestopreventcompressoraccidentsasaresultofexcessivepressure,destructivemechanicalfailures,internalfiresorexplosions,andleakageoftoxicorflammablefluids.Generalsafetypracticesandhazardsuniquetocompressorsarealsocovered.ThisStandardappliestothecompressoranditsauxiliaries,includingdrivers,intercoolers,surgechambers,disengagingdrumsorscrubbers,interconnectingpipingandlubrication,sealoil,andjacketwatersystems.TherequirementsofthisStandardapplytoalltypesofcompressors(centrifugal,axial,rotary,andreciprocating)whichareanintegralpartoffacilitiesforprocessingpetroleum,petrochemicals,orchemicals,includingairseparationplants.Theydonotapplytoplantutilitycompressors.
